We love the serenity of this blue for a bedroom and how it fits with the character of a classic bungalow. We are going to be adding crown molding this bedroom as well just to add to the richness of the room. The ceiling fan still works, so we will clean it up, change out the glass shades to match the bungalow character, upgrade all the electrical outlets, and finally, since the door was to damaged to repair, our neighbor was getting rid of his solid wood doors in favor of cheaper hollow doors... why???... I don't understand... but his choice is a bonus for us! We have a beautiful solid wood door with original fixtures to fix our door. We not only save these beautiful doors from the landfill, but we get to maintain a real door for our bedroom at the right price... free.

Our colors for this room:
Walls: Eddie Bauer Valspar paint - Mercer Blue
Trim: Valspar paint Cream White
Ceiling: White
We will be getting an area rug sized to room exactly from Factory Carpet Outlet in Pawtucket. If we provide them with the exact dimensions, even making notes of the radiator placement in the room and measurements, they will exactly cut and bind a piece of carpet to slide right around the radiator pipes. Because the room is small, the area rug will go wall-to-wall, but it will not be permanently installed.
We are going with berber:
The radiator was removed, cleaned, repainted and the bleed valve was replaced. While it looks great as is, we are going to build a radiator cover for safety. It would be nice to just order some covers, but they are ridiculously expensive when they need to be ordered in specific sizes... and limited in style selections. We built our covers for the living room and dining room, so building a few more should be a breeze.
