Upon demolition... we discovered that whoever "updated" the garage, put 7' doors on the 8' door openings. There is quite a bit of rot, so we will replace much of the wood... leaving the concrete block structure and roof, but we will resize the opening to fit a proper garage door.
Eventually, we would like to build out this lot to a 2 bay garage with a living space, but in the meantime, we will be replacing the doors on the existing structure with swing out carriage doors.

Initial work on garage has started. We pulled off the siding to find quite a bit of rot. Two more sides to clear, but the neighbor has put up his fence on our lot and we cannot access the 4th side. Gonna have to address that problem straightaway! Survey done... check!
