Driving around Providence on a cold November day, I stumbled on a cute little bungalow just next to the university while showing client real estate listings in the area. In December, the house went on the market. Unfortunately, the house was already pending, but then, the opportunity came.... the email notification read, "Back on Market" so I prepared the paperwork and sent it in. The call came back several days later that the bank accepted my offer and by June, the house was mine.
Of course, there was a bit of drama since the property was a foreclosure, but that was all in the past. It is now time to restore this gem... and the first order of business is to get all the broken windows and doors replaced and to fix the leaky roof.
Overall, the house is soundly built. With some upgrades, fresh paint and a good cleaning, we will have restored this 1935 bungalow.
